| Twelfth Anniversary Wreath Laying Ceremony OP Vijay | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 27: Sentinels of Chenab brigade on the eve of 12th anniversary of OP Vijay organized a wreath laying ceremony at war memorial of Brigade headquarters and also all other memorials in Khour, Jourian and Rakhmuthi areas to commemorate the velour’s of our brave soldier who fought enemy in typical terrain in a gallant way and sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The wreath was laid at 8:30 am by the chief guest commander Sentinels of Chenab brigade followed by senior ex serviceman Col (retd) S K Singh and other senior officers of the brigade. During the occasion many senior army officers, junior commissioned officers, jawans, ex- serviceman and newly elected sarpanches of Akhnoor and Khour block.
Is his speech commander Anuj Bhalla , Sentinels of Chenab brigade talked about the exceptional valour of Indian army displayed during the conflict at Kargil and battalic sectors. He also assured that troops are ever alert along the line of control and are maintaining constant vigil.
