| Guv, Hr Edu Minister discuss demands of contractual college teachers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, July 27:
Minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik, called on Governor N N Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
During an hour long meeting, the Governor and the Higher Education Minister discussed various issues relating to the demands of the All J&K College Contractual Teachers Association, which they had presented to the Governor, when they had called on him on 15th of this month.
Their main demand relates to the regularization of the services of Contractual College Teachers.
The Minister informed that this entire matter is receiving his urgent personal attention.
Several other issues relating to the Higher Education sector came up for discussion during Malik’s meeting with the Governor, who is the Chancellor of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities.
