| Flat of famous Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi's brother burgled | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: Three flats, including that of the brother of famous Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi, were burgled in an apartment block at Panama Chowk in Gandhi Nagar locality here last night.
Burglars broke into the flat of Mukesh's brother Lovesh Rishi and decamped with cash and valuables, according to police sources.
The same gang was suspected to have carried out thefts in the flats of Jagmohan Singh Raina, who lives in block B, and Harbans Singh.
In his complaint lodged with Gandhi Nagar police station, Jagmohan said two gold bangles, four pairs of earrings, five rings and a cash of Rs 30,000 had been stolen from his flat, the sources added.
He said he discovered the burglary today after his return from Srinagar. Though police had registered cases in this connection, they were yet to get any clue to the identity of the accused.
Meanwhile, another theft took place at Lakshmi Nagar, Sarwal, last night in the house of Ram Prakash, son of Mangat Ram of Lower Luxmi Nagar.
In his police statement, Prakash said an amount of Rs 36,000 was stolen from his house. |
