| City based businessman's medical laboratory raided | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 27: A team of Drug and Food Control Organization Jammu inspected Vishwa Swasthya Dham laboratory of a city based businessman after it received complaints that the Ayurvedic medicines being given there to patients are of spurious quality.
The DFCO team headed by Assistant Drug Controller Surinder Tikku along with Naib Tehsildar Jammu and a city police team raided the premises of Madan Lal Aggarwal to ascertain the veracity of allegations levelled against his laboratory.
In the two hour long surprise checking, the raiding team inspected the license, equipments installed there and collected samples of medicines, however, no objectionable thing was found.
The team thoroughly checked the stock of drugs and also directed Aggarwal to produce the record of the medicines sold so far to the people with in two days. |
