NSUI provides Help Desk for students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 27: NSUI today opened a help desk to provide guidance to the students coming for BBA/BCA counselling. A group of students led by state general secretary Arjun Singh Pathania and Uday Chib opened a help desk near Rajinder Singh Auditorium on University campus. Carrying copies of merit list, they distributed the information regarding selection criteria, cut-off list, admission formalities etc. They also provided a help-line number (9419149230) and any query regarding BBA/BCA can be obtained from this number while seated in home. While addressing media, Pathania said that these programmes are very useful for lessening a communication gap between students and administration. It is pertinent to mention that Help Desk Programme is a national level exercise spreading in every nook and corner of the country. All over the India, NSUI workers can be seen distributing the information in universities and colleges. As per the statement the information counter will be opened for next six or seven days till the last dates of these admissions. The programme seems quite important and significant and many students cleared their queries with the guidance from Help Desk. Other prominent those who were present include state secretary Chetan Misri, Jammu rural President Manu Magotra, Fairoz Khan, Abhishek Koushal, Ankush Khatri and Joginder Thakur.
