JAMMU, JULY 28- In order to carry out work of erection of 11 KV VCB panel set (1+4) under ERA at 33/11 KV Receiving Station Seora, the power supply to Apna Vihar, Kunjwani, Ekta Vihar, Bandhu Rakh, Kaluchak, Arjun Vihar, Deep Nagar, parts of Gangyal, MES and Air Force installations shall remain affected on July 29, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Meanwhile, to carry out the branch cutting and general maintenance of 33 KV G-5 line, the power supply to Panjtirthi, Dhounthly, Old Secretariat, Pacci Dhakki, Julaka Mohalla, Kachi Chawni, Tange Wali Gali, Karan Nagar, Amphalla, Mohalla Ustad, Gujjar Nagar, Nagrota, Katal Batal, Pir Mitha, Jain Bazar, Circular Road and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on July 31, 2011 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. The essential feeders i.e. 11 KV D-6 (PHE) and D-7 (Raj Bhawan) will be fed from 33 KV Janipur Sheetli- Dhounthly tie line.
According to PDD authority, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
