| 137 CRPF Bn celebrates raising day | | | UDHAMPUR, JULY-28:- The 137 Bn of Central Reserve Police Force celebrated its 12th Raising Day in a befitting manner at Udhampur last evening. Commandant, 137 Bn CRPF, Mr. J. Majumdar was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the commandant complemented the officers and jawans and extended his best wishes to them.
On the occasion a scintillating cultural bonanza was also organized by the Battalion in collaboration with District Information Center, Udhampur. The cultural items presented by the Jawans of CRPF and artists of Information Department received repeated applause from across the audience.
Punjabi folk dance Bhangra, Bhand item and ghazals by Mr. Pardeep Mehra were the main attraction of the programme.
Later, a Bara Khana was also organized in which officers, jawans and their family members participated.
Among other, Officer 2nd in Command, CRPF Bn 137, Mr. T.K Koldhar, Deputy Commandant, Mr. O. P Pandey, Assistant Commandant, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Latif from 126 Bn CRPF, Inspector, Mr. Jarnail Singh, Sub Inspector Mr. Gopal Singh, Sub Inspector, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chib were also present on the occasion.
