Madan for equitable development of all three regions of the state

JAMMU JULY 28: Continuing his mass contact programme, Member parliament, Madan Lal Sharma today addressed a series of public meetings at Rehari, Resham ghar colony and Munchi Chak and listened to the problems of the residents of these localities.

Local leaders and people participated in the meetings in a large no. and put forth their local issues. Madan Lal gave a patient hearing and directed the officers accompanying him to address the issues which they can solve at their own level. He assured that he would take the other major issues with the government for an early redressal.

Madan said that the centre and state government was committed for equitable development of all the three regions of the state adding a massive developmental programme has been launched to meet the aspirations of the people.

The MP also suggested for better employment avenues for the youth of the state and accelerating the process of recruitment on the vacancies in various departments. He also called for the streamlining of the selection process, particularly through Public Service Commission. He further suggested to the PSC and state govt.reducing the viva marks in KAS selection process from 250 to 20-25 witha provision of 5 marks with each interviewing members. He said, It will ensure transparency, as the same is the process of some premier selection bodies of the country. He also welcomed the foreign minister level talks between India and Pakistan and said that India always advocated Peace and better relations with the neighborors. He hoped for better relations between India and Pakistan in future.

Reacting to some of the local demands, he asked the concerned departments to take immediate measures to repair overflowing Krishnanagar nallah. He also advocated for the widening of link from RRL to Reshamghar colony. He said the issue of Widow Pension will be addressed soon as committed by CM added Mr. Sharma.

Prominent leaders who accompanied the MP and spoke on the occasion include Kuldeep Verma, OBC vice chairman, Shivdev singh ex-MLA,D S langehrban working president and local leaders.
