| Dir tourism discuss arrangements with Parytan Vikas Mandal | | | JAMMU, JULY 28-Director Tourism, Jammu, Mr R S Mehta held a meeting regarding organizing of Bhaderwah Kailash Yatra-2011 with representatives of Parytan Vikas Mandal Jammu and discussed with them the measures taken by the department for promoting the Yatra .
Mr Ravi Mahajan, Chairman, Mr Kuldeep Wahi, President, Mr Inderjeet Khajuria General Secretary, Mr Davinder Chowdhary Vice President, Mr B B Kotwal Secretary and other members of the Parayatan Vikas Mandal attended the meeting.
The Director Tourism informed that yatra would start on August 21 anmd last upto Aug 28. He sought the cooperation of the Mandal in promoting the Yatra by attracting the pilgrims from across the state and outside
He underscored the immense importance of the Paryatan Vikas Mandal in making the yatra successful.
The base camp of the yatra will be at Bhaderwah. The Paryatan Vikas Mandal raised the issues pertaining to arrangements and provision for helicopter services during the yatra.
The Director informed that the department would launch a publicity campaign in print and electronic media to attract the devotees to the lake shrine located amid the Himalayas. He also informed that tented accommodation and other arrangements would put in place for the visiting devotees.
