Dr Farooq hopes for irrelevant borders

Srinagar, July 28 (KNS) : National Conference President and Union minister for new and renewable energy Dr Farooq Abdullah Wednesday said that cordial relations with India would benefit Pakistan and hoped that a day will come when borders will become irrelevant.
Talking to reporters at SK Stadium here after witnessing a Ranji Trophy match, Dr Abdullah said, "Better relations between India and Pakistan is in the interests of Kashmirs as it can solve our problems." He welcomed the Confidence Building Measures between India and Pakistan. "The meeting between S M Krishna and Hina Rabbani Khar was held in conducive atmosphere. The results are also good," he said.
