SIT to hold Id parade in Kulgam 'rape' on Monday | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 28 (KNS) : The identification parade of army personnel involved in alleged abduction and rape of a Kulgam woman will be held on Monday, sources told KNS. "Special Investigation Team probing the incident has completed its investigation and the parade would be done on Monday," they added. When contacted DIG Police South Kashmir Range, Shafkat Watali told KNS that the parade would be held soon. "Investigations are on and we expect it to be completed till Monday. Identification parade would be held after that," he said. The DIG rejected reports that a man (Ghulam Hassan) was detained on charges of instigating the alleged rape victim to put the blame on Army. "No body has been detained. These are baseless and false stories," Watali told KNS. Meanwhile, challan was produced against the Army trooper who had last week allegedly molested a teenage girl in north Kashmir's Pattan area. |
