UPA friend of separatists, weakening nationalists: BJP

JAMMU, Jul 28: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has termed UPA government friend of separatists and held it responsible for weakening the morale of nationalists across the country.
Referring to the meeting of separatist Hurriyat leaders with visiting Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rubbani Khar, National President of BJP Mahila Morcha Samriti Irani said that despite Pakistan’s known stand on Jammu and Kashmir, UPA government allowed separatists to meet the Pakistani minister.
Irani, who reached Jammu on Thursday to attend the inaugural session of 3-day Mahila Morcha Prashikshan Varg, was given a rousing reception at Jammu airport by BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas and other senior leaders of BJP and Mahila Morcha.
She said that policies of the Pakistani government towards India had never been clear though their inimical intentions are clear. Pakistan has always played a dubious role during all these years of its existence. She said that nationalist public of this country will never allow Pakistani aspiration to succeed.
Irani said that morcha at the national level has been organizing Prashikshan varg (Training Workshops) throughout the country with an objective to make the Morcha activists aware of the ideology and basic principles of the organisation.
She said that besides organizing training camps, our activists have been reaching the masses through different awareness programmes to educate women folk in particular about significance of 33 per cent reservation to the women in political field and ensuring their presence and contribution in the decision making bodies at different levels.
Chander Prakash Ganga, Sat Sharma (C.A), Usha Choudhary, Purnima Sharma, Mamta Singh, Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Balbir Ram, Rajesh Gupta, Sakina Bano, Rajinder Sharma, Vikram Randhawa, Jaideep Sharma, Kamla Gupta, Priya Sethi, Rajni Sethi, Rajiv Charak, Arun Khosla, Praduman Singh, Raj Rani Jamwal, Anuradha Charak were prominent among those who received Smriti Irani at Jammu Airport.
