JCC launched intensive campaign | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 28: First phase intensive campaign was launched by the leaders of state government Employees Joint Consultative Committee. The representative of the Joint Consultative Committee visited various district and tehsils for mobilization of two days token strike which is to be held on August 5 and 6, 2011 for settlement of agreed demands as the J&K government is backing out. The employees of their respective districts explained the reason for two days token Kaam Chodo hartal as a symbolic protest is to be held to focus the attention of the present government because the coalition government had made false assurances/commitments. JCC has rejected the roadmap of the State Government for the 6th Pay commission arrears and demands to release arrear in two installments as per central Government in favour of employees and pensioners. JCC has demanded that Government should declare the policy for regularization of daily rated workers who have completed 7 years of service after 1994. Even they alleged that Government has failed to issue the order of contractual and adhoc employees which were to be issued August 2009 as announced by the Government on May 14, 2010. Even JCC demanded enhancement of retirement age from 58 years to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies of different cadre and implementation of the agreement of clerical cadre on 10.3.2008 etc .
