KPs protest against Pak’s Foreign minister’s meeting | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 29: Kashmiri Pandits today protested against Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Kha's meeting with the separatists in the Valley and said such engagements can harm India’s national interests. The members of Joint Forum of Kashmiri Pandit Organisations gathered at the Press Club and held demonstrations against Khar’s meeting with separatists, saying the manner in which secessionist and separatists were facilitated to meet the Pakistani minister was shameful. “This smacks of a deep-rooted conspiracy to undermine the position of the Indian nation and harm its vital national interests. The complicity of Pakistan in arranging meeting with these elements who are bent upon to break India is established and as such the government of India should have taken strong and appropriate measures,” the Forum said in a statement. These talks would prove counter productive and would only encourage Pakistan and secessionist elements in Jammu and Kashmir, they said. After her arrival in New Delhi, Khar met top Hurriyat leaders, including Syed Ali Shah Gilani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in the Pakistan High Commission.
