Dy CM visits High Court Complex | Takes stock of problems of lawyers, litigants | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 29: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today visited High Court and District Court Complex at Janipur and took stock of various problems being faced by general public visiting court complex and lawyers in particular. Tara Chand was apprised by the President, Bar Association of Jammu B S Salathia about various infrastructural requirements of the complex. Vice-Chairman, JDA Vinod Sharma and other senior officers and engineers of JDA, JMC, JKPCC and line departments accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister. While inspecting main canopy, the Deputy Chief Minister instructed the concerned engineers to look into the problems brought up by the lawyers and rectify the same. Tara Chand also visited Ladies Bar room and took stock of facilities made available to the female members of the Bar. He directed the concerned to look into the matter of extending the bar room and sanctioned Rs 1 lakh for dispensary in the lower court complex. During the visit, members of Young Lawyers Association expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for taking prompt action on the demands put forward by them. Deputy Chief Minister, taking note of the requirements brought up by the association, sanctioned new water coolers, lawn movers, ceiling fans and instructed the concerned authorities to repair already installed water coolers and the fountain.
