| Backdoor appointment scam in Pahari hostel, CAPD Rajouri: BJP | | |

Rajouri , July 30: Launching scathing attack on the Minister of State Shabir Ahmed Khan, Bhartiya Janta Party has said that 13 people have been given backdoor appointment in Pahari Hostel Rajouri whereas 30 unemployed youth have been engaged in Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department violating all rules and regulations.
In a Press Conference held here, State Secretary Bhartiya Janta Party advocate Vibodh Gupta said that 13 people have been given backdoor appointment in Pahari hostel Rajouri among them 11 belong to relatives and supporters of the minister of state.
He said that Mohammad Ishaq of Manjakote, Mohammad Ajaz of Sarola Manjakote, Imran Khan resident of Dabrote Manjakote, Tanveer Hussain resident of Gambhir Manjakote, Abdul Khaliq resident of Manjakote, Mohd Ali resident of Manjakote, Shahnawaz Khan of Thanamandi and Abdul Khaliq of Manjakote are some people who were engaged from backdoor.
Showing orders of all the officials engaged to media, Gupta said that all these employees were engaged after Khan was inducted as Vice Chairman of Pahari Advisory Board and the process continued during when he was inducted as Minister of State.
Meanwhile showing documental proof, Gupta said that they have received confirmation of engagement of officials in CAPD Department Rajouri in backdoor capacity.
However he said that the number of backdoor appointments in the Department is 30 and these unemployed youth have been engaged as casual labour or chowkidars on monthly payments of Rs 30 but now they are getting Rs 3300.
He said that some youth engaged were under age at the time of their engagement which is criminal act according to court of law. He added that the department is also headed by the same minister.
Alleging that there are also complaints of some illegal appointments in Rajouri in Forest department and BJP is gathering data on the same.
BJP district president Yogesh Sharma in the press conference alleged that water is flowing up above the heads in the Rajouri in regard of interference in appointments and adjustments on part of the local MLA.
He said that two junior headmasters Maneer Hussain and Shahnawaz who are close relative of the minister were given out of turn promotion as Zonal Education Officer violating all norms whereas senior headmasters were denied justice and Director Education Jammu remained mum over these illegal promotions.
He also said that brother in law of minister Babu Khan has been given out of turn promotion as Warden Pahari Hostel Rajouri and is working in the Hostel for the last 6 years.
He added that during the tenure of this Warden Pahari Hostel result is decreasing from 100 percent to 20 percent this year.
