JAMMU, July 30:
Jammu and Kashmir Joint Churches Fellowship (JKJCF) has condemned the
formation of a society under the name of Christian, Balmiki, Sheikh
Forum with Sagar Anand Gill as chairman, Rajan Singh vice chairman and
Dev Anand Gill as president.
In a meeting of the JKJCF held here today at the Church of God, Dogra Hall
Under the chairmanship of Rev. Sohan Lal and Rev. Issac Bhatti,
speakers expressed that the Dev Anand Gill was not a Christian so he
cannot be appointed as the president of a body representing
Christians. He further added that there are several seniors Christians
in the state for the post.
The other members who were present in the meeting were N M Nisar,
Khurshid Masin, Anthony, Joney Bhatti, George Burret, Sanju Burret,
Camres David, Thomas Khokkar, Shinder, Varyam Teji, Salookas Nar,
Younis Masih, Thomas, Thomas Paul, Rajan, Sajan, James.
