| IDS organizes dental camp for BSF jawans | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 30: Carrying forward the tradition of reaching out to people in providing the medicare, IDS, Sehora today organized a dental camp for BSF jawans at Miran Sahib.
This is one in a series of dental and oral health awareness camps that have been held over the city as part of the institution’s initiative to take its social responsibility seriously.
The camp was for the jawans of SHQ Indreshwar-Nagar, 31, 135 battalion of BSF and was organized at BSF campus, Indereshwar Nagar, Miran Sahib.
The IDS team of 15 students, led by Dr.G.S Bali interacted with the jawans.
Free medicines were distributed, oral checkup of jawans was done and awareness about dental hygiene was imparted.
The IDS members received a hearty welcome and after a daylong interaction, the jawans expressed gratitude and happiness with the treatment and help offered. The camp was a success and everyone involved was satisfied.
DIG Virendra Singh and DC (Comn.) Anant Ram Sharma were the dignitaries present at the camp who also helped in the organization of the camp.
