| Sham inaugurates PHC complex at Cheearkoot | | |

KUPWARA, July 30:
Minister for Health and Family Welfare Sham Lal Sharma today inaugurated Rs 1 crore project of Primary Health Centre complex at Cheearkoot block Sogam, Kupwara.
Addressing the inaugural function the Minister said that the complex has been fully equipped with necessary infrastructure to provide better medicare facilities to the patients of the area.
Announcing Rs 10000 for each health sub centre, the Minister said that the amount will be kept at the disposal of Sarpanchs for extending better patients care to the ailing persons of the village.
He stressed upon the concerned public representatives to monitor the functioning of Health Institutions so that their efficiency is assured and work culture gets boost in the best interest of the people.
Later, the Minister attended one day NRHM seminar organized by State Health Society, Kupwara.
Minister of State for Home, Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Shrief-ud-din Sharik Legislators, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Mir Saif-ullah, Abdul Haq, Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Mohammad Rafi Rather, Director, NRHM, Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Director ISM Dr. Abdul Kabir, Project Director AIDs Control Society, Dr. Wasim Qureshi, Director Family Welfare, Dr. Rakesh Khajura, Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Saleemu Rehman, Director Horticulture, Planning & Marketting, Javeed Ahmed Khan, hundreds of Ashas, paramedics prominent citizens, Sarpanchs, Panchs and all district officers were present on the occasion.
