| Seminar on bio-diversity held at Doda | | |

DODA, July 30:
A one day seminar on Bio-Diversity and Conservation was held at Government Girls High School Ban Doda in which Chief Education Officer, Y. R. Thusoo was the chief guest.
Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Anita Koul, District Coordinator Paryvaran Mitra, students, teachers and staff was present on the occasion.
As many as 10 students participated in debate competition whereas seven participants took part in drawing competition. The speakers in a very elaborate manner presented the concept of bio-diversity with different suggestion for its timely conservation.
Kavita student of 9th class was declared as 1st in debate competition whereas Aftab of 10th won the 1st position in drawing competition.
Later, the chairman flagged of a rally of students, which passed through main bazaar Doda carrying banners and shouting different slogans as a message to conserve bio-diversity.
