RAJOURI, July 30: If the revelations made by a youth arrested by police from near a government school building here today are to be believed, a religious place in the town was allegedly being used by some youth for sex activity.
A youth was spotted moving aimlessly close to a room of an old religious place in the town by the watchman of a nearby government higher secondary school. As the watchman knew that the place was being allegedly used for sex activity, he locked the youth inside the room and brought the matter to the
notice of school administration, police sources said.
School principal Pradeep Kumar told scribes that he called up police and handed over the youth to them. He was identified as Gulzar Ahmed, son of Shoukat Hussain of Darhal, Rajouri. During questioning, he told police that he had been given money to recce the spot for the safe entry of one Mohammad Arif of Gurdan Bala and a girl into the religious place.
A hunt was on to apprehend Arif, the sources added. Sources said some youth had even made video clips of some girls and circulated them in the market. In the clips, the girls were alleged to have been
shown in sex activity with the youth, the sources added. Sources said such video clips could be checked on the mobile phones of a select group of youth in the town.
