Prof. Vishan re-elected unanimously president of B.Ed College Associations

SRINAGAR JULY 31:- Today the elections for the Presidentship of B.Ed colleges Association was held, which is comprisng of 68 Colleges and in which lakhs of students are studying and thousands of lecturers and staff are engaged.
Prof. Vishan was unanimously elected as a President. In the decision opponents decided not to field any candidates against Prof. Vishan.
Prof. Vishan was felicitated immediately after winning the prestigious election. He thanked all those who supported him and assured them that he will work for expansion of education in the State particularly in the Valley of Kashmir. He said J&K State has always remained epitome of education and knowledge. He congratulated present Chief Minister Mr. Omar Abdullah who is taking keen interest in strengthening educational institutions of the State. He said that in several places of the World Education Institutions are real source of revenue for the Government at large and the biggest fraternity of institutions of employability. He said in Kashmir Valley also these education institutions have provided employment to thousands of people.
He said Government should create liberal atmosphere so that large number of private universities, private colleges are established so that people from all parts of the country including foreign countries are able to come to this State for acquiring education and best degree. It will help to remove the un-employment problem forever and encourage Tourism education as well. He also expressed thanks to Minister for Higher Education for his pragmatic approach.
He also thanks to Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University Prof. Talat Hussain who has a positive approach and has a capacity and capability to discourage such elements who are inimical to expansion of education in the State
