| Youth commits suicide, 2 male bodies recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 31:A youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Gujjar Nagar area here today.
According to police sources, Mohinder Pal, 35, son of Amar Nath Goswami of Bawa Basti Gujjar Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of Pir Mitha police station was found hanging at his residence under suspicious circumstances.
After getting the information of the incident, the Pir Mitha police reached the spot and took the body of deceased into its custody.
The body was later shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for post-mortem.
After conducting the autopsy and completing all legal formalities, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, two male bodies were found under mysterious circumstances in different parts of the city today.
An unidentified male body was recovered near Hotel Fortune Inn Riviera, Samadhian Road area under the jurisdiction of Pir Mitha police station.
The body of the deceased was taken to police custody and shifted to GMC&H for identification. In this connection inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr PC was initiated.
Nowabad police recovered one male body of Sanjay Kumar Kanth, 36, son of Surinder Kumar Kanth of H. No. WZ-298 New Delhi presently putting up at Langer Bhagwati from Ranbir Canal near Chanderbhaga Community Hall.
The body of deceased was taken to police custody and shifted to GMC&H for post-mortem and after completing all legal formalities, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites. In this connection Inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr PC initiated. |
