kishtwar, July 31: It is an astonishing situation over the issue of sacking of CHPPWU General secretary Javed Ahmed Zarger, as the "Early Times" receive two copies of press notes of meeting held with almost same representatives, but with different version contradicting its each other statement issued on the name of same person. Now it was difficult whom to believe and whom not to believe? But senior Vice President for Center of Indian Trade Unions Ajay Kumar Sharma confirms the expulsion of Javed Ahmed Zager from the post of CHPPWU General Secretary during a meeting of party executive members/workers on Friday. He said that decision of expulsion of Zarger from the post of CHPPWU General Secretary was taken on the bases of allegation of corruption and embezzlement of funds worth lacs of rupees meant for the developmental of Union and workers. Ajay Sharma said that Javed Ahmed Zarger in last 10 years have accumulated huge wealth by means of misusing his status in the union. He said that he had already conveyed the resentment of CHPPWU workers against Javed Ahmed Zarger to his party president Mohammad Yousaf Tarighami during his recent visit to Kishtwar and also had written him (Tarighami) a detail letter highlighting the various atrocities committed by Javed Ahmed Zarger for his personal benefits. He said that it was due to undue and anti workers policy of Javed Ahmed Zager that no one from District Kishtwar was able to find jobs in various ongoing projects in Jammu and Kashmir like railways. He said that due to unparallel and staunch notions on part of Javed Ahmed Zarger, CHPPWU is functioning nowhere in Kishtwar District. He said that being as a senior Vice President of CITU J & K, he had leave no stone unturned to reach the expectation of the aggrieved workers of Chenab region. He said that it was due to ill will designs of Javed Ahmed Zarger which force the workers to show him the doors for the betterment of the Union. He said that during his meeting with Tarighami at Chenab Bhawan Kishtwar, on the bases of resentment shows by the workers and executive members, Tarighami assured action against Javed Ahmed Zarger. He said that only few people were supporting the cause of Javed Ahmed Zarger who were hand in glow with him and were equally get benefited from corruption done by Javed Ahmed Zarger.
Meanwhile Zarger supporter in his last attempt to save Javed Ahmed Zarger from malign issued a press note claiming the decision of expulsion of Javed Ahmed Zarger from the post of CHPPWU General Secretary is concocted and factitious. As per the two different press notes issued under name Chenab Hydro Power Projects Union Kishtwar, both meeting were chaired by Abdul Subhan Dobhi. In one press note Dobhi confirms in the expulsion of Javed Ahmed Zarger from the post of CHPPWU General Secretary and subsequently appointment of Mushtaq Ahmed Najjar as new General Secretary of the union, where as in other press note, it was claimed that Dobhi supports Javed Ahmed Zager and called the news item published in various newspaper as handy work of some mischievous elements. Zager supporters claims the support of Nisar Ahmad Mir, Mushtaq Ahmir Mir, Haqnawaz, Mohammad Abass, Raj Kumar, Riaz Ahmad Butt, Muzaffar Hussain Zargar, Javed Ahmad , Rajesh Sharma, Riaz Ahmad , Firdous Ahmad Tapal, and others, where as Javed's opponent group claims the support of Nisar Ahmed Mir (name featured in both press note), Tariq Hussain Butt, Mushtaq Ahmed Mir (name featured in both press note), Yasir Hussain Najjar, Firdous Ahmed Tapal(name featured in both press note), Mohammad Abbas Sheikh, Ajay Kumar Mistri and others.
However newly appointed General Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Najjar also claims that he had held a detail meeting with its union workers and it was unanimously decided to take legal course of action against Javed Ahmed Zarger. He said that all the record pertaining to the Union is laying is personal custody of Javed Ahmed Zarger and said that there is possibility of doctrine in the union record. He said that incase Javed Ahmed Zarger fails to submit the record, an FIR will be lodged against him before the police.
However the CHPPWU workers from Kishtwar challenges Zarger to chair any open public meet at Kishtwar to prove his point those local workers, as well as from the general public of Kishtwar. The workers once again in one voice supports through probe inquiry into the assists both moveable and immoveable accumulated by Javed Ahmed Zarger during his tenure as CHPPWU General Secretary. |
