JAMMU, August 1: National Conference Students Union under the leadership of Yasser Farooq Khan provincial secretary held a meeting of activists of NCSU and students of BGSBU at Jammu university campus.
Addressing the gathering Yassir Farooq Khan said that the NCSU has strongly condemned the authorities of Baba Gulam Badshah university (BGSBU) for proposing hike in fee in various academic courses and hostel from the forthcoming session.
The hike in fee cannot be justified as the sufferers would be no one other than the students especially those hailing from backward areas and poor families of the twin border districts Rajouri and Ponnch.
When a group of students of the university approached the administration of BGSBU, instead of listening their grievances and justifying their decision they behave in a dictatorial manner.
The university authorities should reconsider their decision in the interest of student’s community and look for other sources to meet their financial requirements
