| Veeri demands up-gradation of PHC Mattan | | |

Srinagar, Aug 1: Former Minister and MLA Bejbehara Abdul Rehman Veeri has demanded up gradation of the PHC Mattan as Sub-District Hospital to solve problems being faced by the residents of Mattan and adjoining localities.
Addressing one day convention of the party workers of Mattan, Veeri pointed out that residents of Mattan are facing a number of problems due to inadequate health facilities so there is need to up grade the existing PHC as Sub District Hospital.Veeri further said that Mattan town, which is known for its secular ethos, is fit case for granting tehsil status.
He said it is long pending demand of the residents of Mattan so government should grant tehsil status to Mattan. He said that residents of Mattan have been facing numerous problems in the existing system and with the granting of tehsil status to Mattan these problems would be automatically solved. He also demanded up gradation of existing schools.He especially demanded more educational institutions for girl students.Calling upon the party workers to spread message of the party in every nook and corner of Mattan, Veeri said that policies of the party are aimed at solve problems of the all sections of the society.
