Solving Malegaon blasts speaks for itself
11/30/2006 12:15:21 AM

The Mumbai police claim of successfully solving the September 8Malegaon serial blasts case, having involvement of two Pakistaninationals involved in the explosions carried out by the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), is umpteenth prove of Pakistan's involvement in the terrorists strike in various parts of India, including Jammu and Kashmir. The Malegaon serial blasts near a mosque, where a large number of Muslim devotees had gathered to offer Friday prayers, killing many people including some children had given rise to speculations about the involvement of some Hindu
fundamentalists as a retaliatory action against Mumbai serial train blasts, killing over 200 people. The Kashmiri secessionists and some fundamentalists in other parts of the country as well as some individuals used to a policy of appeasement towards the Muslim community had even suggested of RSS, Shiv Sena and Bajrang Dal hand in the blasts. The over zealous protagonists of Indo-Pak friendship, who put Indian government and alleged extremists in India every time putting the blame on Pakistan or Pak agents for any violent act in India, had already given their verdict, absolving any Muslim undamentalist organization in India as well as akistan of the responsibility for the dastardly act. They had even charged the police of targeting xclusively Muslim extremist for any act of sabotage ven if the victims happen to be members of the Muslim community. The Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) probing the case has already booked eight suspects including two booked for the July 11 Mumbai serial blasts as well. As per the Director General of Maharashtra police, P.S. Pasricha one of the prime conspirators, Shabir Batterywalla, had received training at a camp near Karachi in Pakistan in 2003. Pakistani national, named Muzammil had assembled the IEDs at Malegaon in the third week of July after one Mohammad Ali a Mumbai train blasts accused, along with Junaid and two others deliver the RDX to prime accused Batterywalla. Thus a direct link between the Mumbai serial blasts of July 11 and the ones taking place at Malegaon stands amply established. Obviously the motive of the disruptionists was to rigger communal divide, hatred and riots. After the Mumbai serial train blasts failed to fulfill the nefarious design of the enemy to create communal flare up, Muslim religious congregation was chosen, targeting Muslim devotees gathered there, to create suspicion among the Muslim community of the nvolvement of Hindus in causing explosions at Muslim
religious place. The communally sensitive Malegaon, which has history of communal divide and mutual tension was particularly selected with the specific motive to create communal riots. But it goes to the
credit of the people of Malegaon, both Hindus and Muslims and particularly the latter that they refused to fall in the trap laid by the enemies of peace and foiled their nefarious motives. Leaving
behind the past history of communal divide, both Hindus and Muslims displayed great sagacity and upheld communal amity. Joint peace marches had taken place advising the people at large to maintain restrain and communal brotherhood. Thus the enemy was defeated once again. But the hand of Pakistan in acts of sabotage and subversion taking place in India is established once again. This makes the joint mechanism by India and Pakistan to tackle terrorism irrelevant andmeaningless, unless Pakistan effectively acts on the evidence provided by India about the involvement of their nationals in the umbai as well as Malegaon serial blasts and many other such terrorist strikes in various parts of Indian including Jammu and Kashmir.
