| 1 held with 34 LPG cylinders at Katra | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
katra, Aug 1: A truck driver was today arrested by police at Sirwad near here while trying to illegally carry LPG cylinders towards Reasi.
A police party led by DSP PL Tickoo stopped a truck (JK20/1250) for routine checking at Sirwad, about 3 km from here on Katra-Reasi road, and found its driver Ranjoy, son of Santokh Ram of Bhakta, illegally carrying 34 LPG cylinders.
He was taken into custody and booked under relevant sections of law. The truck and the cylinders were also seized. |
