| MoS Home reviews investigation | | SP Sopore transferred | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, AUGUST 02– DIG North kashmir Range, Muneer Ahmad Khan will be the overall incharge of of Naved Anjum’s `custodial’ death. This was held in a meeting chaired by MoS Home in which DGP Kuldeep Khuda and Principal Secretary Home, BR Sharma also participated.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the magisterial inquiry being conducted by SDM, Sopore, Muhammad Ahsan Mir.
In order to ensure fair and impartial investigation into the incident, it was decided to transfer SP Sopore with immediate effect. |
