| Pak youth arrested, woman crosses over to PoK | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 2:
A Pakistani youth was apprehended by the alert security forces along Line of Control (LoC) in Degwar area early this morning while in another incident a woman crossed over to the Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) via LoC in Poonch.
''A youth whose identity has been established as Kishwar Ahmed, 16, son of Ashfaq Ahmed, resident of Moulana Ki Basti, district Kahuta, PoK was arrested during wee hours today when he inadvertently crossed over to Indian territory from LoC in Degwar area,'' official sources said.
Sources said that the vigilant troops of 27 Madras apprehended the teenager adding, the youth is being interrogated and if his links with the militants would not be surfaced, he will be repatriated.
Meanwhile, a woman crossed over to the Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir in Poonch district, they added.
''Identified as Parveena Akhtar, resident of village Gotrian, Poonch district had crossed over to other side on Sunday while a case has been registered against her,'' sources said.
They further added that she was accompanied by two other women of the same area but their families on getting the information acted swiftly and stopped them from taking an extreme step.
