| Investiture ceremony at KC Public School | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 2: KC Public School today organised annual investiture ceremony for the current academic year 2011-12 which was held with great fanfare during the morning assembly today.
Forty-eight students of the Senior School were appointed to various positions of responsibility. These included ten house prefects for each of the four Houses from classes 6 to 10 and one House Captain and one Vice House Captain for each of the four Houses from Class XI.
Sanchit Wazir of Class XII was appointed the School Head Boy for the current academic year. The School Head Girl, the School Cultural Captain and the School Sports Captains who were administered oath of office in the academic year 2010-11 would continue to hold their offices for the second year in succession.
Principal of the School, Dr. Ram Thakur, administered the oath of office to all the new appointments. In his brief address to the assembly, he congratulated students for being appointed to positions of authority and advised them to perform their duties with honesty and diligence. Ceremony was witnessed by about thousand students of the senior wing.
