JAMMU, Aug 2: Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association held a meeting at Shahzadpur Kothi here today which was attended by a large number of members. .
At the outset, Association strongly condemned murder of a Batwal youth namely Kaila of Village Sange Chack falling within the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanachak and demanded dispensation of full justice to the family of the victim. All present prayed for rest of the departed soul in eternal peace.
Thereafter, the Association honoured the newly elected Panchayat members and hoped that these members would work with dedication and come up to the expectation of the people who elected them. Association also praised Ruchi Motan for begging fifth position in the Faculty of Commerce with 712 marks (94.9 percent) in Higher Secondary Part-II Examination, 2011 of J&K Board of School Education.
Speaking on the essence of education, the Association General Secretary R.L.Kaith said that children being future hope of community must be provided quality education.
