District police Kargil facilitate trade among women

KARGIL, Aug 2:

A colourful programme was organised by the district police Kargil under the civil action programme in which near about hundred sewing and kitting machines were distributed among the poor and helpless women of the district.
Qamar Ali Akhoon Minister for CA&PD and transport was the chief guest on the occasion while Ahmad Ali Khan Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) was the guest of honour.
The purpose of this programme was to facilitate and help the women to start their own business of sewing and knitting trade in their own village.
The others who were present on the occasion were Army BGDE 121 infantry DGDE Kargil, Councillor of LAHDC, Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Kargil and district officer.
