| SP criticises imposition of Section 144 in Delhi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 2: The J&K Samajwadi Party (SP) in a press release issued here has strongly criticized the Congress for its, suppressive policy imposing section 144 in the entire Delhi metro city banning any public gathering snatching fundamental rights of the citizens of biggest democracy of the world.
This reminds the countryman as also the world the days of emergency imposed by Congress at the centre in 1975 during which unprecedented excesses were committed against peaceful citizens as also the political leaders across the whole Nation, the release said and added this will prove another Water Loo for the Congress as it is hell bent to shield corrupt politicians belonging to Congress itself who have stashed millions of crores in Foreign banks. The brutal attack on sleeping men, women, aged and children at Ramleela ground on June 4 last during midnight is an instance no one have heard and seen in any civilized democratic country with the sole objective to crush any voice raised against corruption---a tirade initiated by Baba Ram Dev. The J&K Samajwadi Party appeals all the political parties, social and religions groups, thinkers and scholars to rise above their affiliations and support the movement of Anna Hazare for exposing the corrupt politicians and bringing back the black money stashed in the foreign banks.
