| Sanctioning of Govt Degree College in Thathri | | People express gratitude to govt | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 2:
A meeting of Sarpanches and panches were held at Perm Nagar under the chairmanship of Dr Vimal Singh Manhas Sarpanch Village Halqa Khandote and following decisions taken in the meeting
Sarpanches and panches of the Block Thatri, Dundana have thanked J&K Govt. for sanctioning Govt. Degree College in Tehsil Thathri a long pending demand of the people of Inderwal, Bhaderwah and Doda constituency.
It is decided in the meeting that Govt. should start the classes of the newly stationed Degree College at Higher sec. School Thathri or Khandote where the accommodation is available
All the sarpanch’s and panch’s have unanimously agreed to construct college building at Thawnal (Khandote) where sufficient land is available and land owner are ready to give there land for college building .Other Facilities such as water , elect. Etc is also available there.
The land available at Thanwal local name of the site of village Khandote is 150 meters away from national highway and centrally located place for Tehsil.
It is as such requested to the government to construct college building at above mentioned place following have attended meeting Sarpanches: Hari Ram, Baldev Singh , Ashok Sharma Sanjay Sharma, Balwant singh Manhas (Naib Sarpanch) Bimla Devi etc.
