| Plus 2 lecturers Forum supports employees’ strike on Aug 5,6 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 2:
All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has supported the strike call of Government employees scheduled for August 5 and 6.
The Central Executive of the Forum which met at Jammu under the Chairmanship of H. D Qureshi its President has decided to extend moral support to the propose strike.
The house was unanimous in its opinion that the strike call of employees is justified as the State Government is callous and non- serious towards the most genuine issues.
The house strongly condemned the Road Map of government for Payment of 6th Pay Commission arrears and termed it a cruel joke with the working class in the State .
The House expressed its surprise that even the pensionary are debarred from the payment after superannuation by the callous State Government.
H.D Qureshi the President of the Forum while speaking on the occasion appealed the State Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah for his personal intervention to address the genuine grievances of Employees before the situation takes an ugly turn and goes out of control
