Over Rs 1.69 cr goods traded by J&K, POK businessmen | | | Poonch: The Cross-LoC businessmen today traded goods worth over Rs 1.69 crores through 23 trucks between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) along LoC at Chakan-Da-Bagh Crossing point in Poonch district, district officials said. As many as eight trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to POK today, they said adding these trucks carried bags of Coconut, Red Chilli and embroidery items worth Rs 34,53,315. From POK, 15 trucks carrying bags of Almond, dry grapes, dates, peshawari sandals and Herbs crossed to this side and these were worth Rs 1,34,60,945. The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1215 hrs and 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs respectively, they said. |
