Nexus between politicians, bureaucrats, OGWs to grab Pandit property in valley
8/2/2011 11:21:17 PM
Early Times Report
srinagar, Aug 2: There exists a nexus between politicians and bureaucrats in the valley.
It is incredible but true that Latif Khan of Reasi was settled on property owned by Kanta Devi Kitchloo w/o Late Sh. Dina Nath Kitchloo and others in village Palpora, wasoora Distt Pulwama under a well planed strategy to grab the Pandit property which runs in crores of rupees by one Zubeer khan, The HM commander for south Kashmir.
It was his aim to provide hideout and grab the property but latter Zubeer Khan HM commander was killed in an encounter. He accomplished this task with the help of local overground workers of his outfit. After that, Latif Khan left the possession. Later on the advice of local over ground workers Latif Khan was settled there.
Aggrieved party made representation to deputy commissioner Pulwama. He humiliated the delegation and asked them to leave the Chamber. It was due to the fact that he had received a phone call from a minister not to evict the said person from Pandit property. Later a delegation called on Revenue Minister Ramman Bhalla. He gave directions to D.C Pulwama to evict the land grabber and dismantle the structure.
Aggrieved party made a representation to CMs grievance cell wide no.22179 dated 30/4/2011 by one the aggrieved partner. CMs grievance cell replied that the illegal occupant had been evicted on 12/7/2011. It was known that DC Pulwama reported false to CMs grievance cell that the structure stands on the land which was in possession of Pandits till 1990 from centuries ago.
This is irony of fact that the said person raised down Cow shed and kothar to ground and used that same material for constructing new two room house on Pandit Land which was in their possession till 1990. The revenue department slept over it under a well hatched conspiracy to settle the said person on Pandit property to encroach and grab it.
This exposes hollow claims of government to the safe return and rehabilitation of Kashmir Pandits. This speaks in volumes about nexus between Politicians, bureaucrats and OGWs of separatist outfits to grab the pandit property. Besides, vast land of Kashmiri Pandits has been occupied by non-resident Kashmiri Muslims in Hawal village of Pulwama district.
According to sources Tehsildar Pulwama has encouraged these encroachments on Pandits property. Despite the repeated pleas and requests by the pandits from the valley leading an exiled life in Jammu and other parts of country, the authorities has failed to evict these land grabbers. According to Hali the revenue authorities are always giving us false assurances of evicting the land grabbers while they are doing nothing on ground.
