| DDC discusses arrangements for Holy Ramzan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST-03- Necessary arrangements of drinking water, power supply, sanitation and healthcare during holy Ramzan in district Udhampur were discussed at a meeting of district officers of various departments held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. Baseer Ahmed Khan, here today.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Rajinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, S. Gurvinderjeet Singh, Executive Engineers, PHE, PDD, Dy. SP (DAR), Udhampur, Assistant Director, CA & PD, Representative of Municipality and Legal Metrology were present in the meeting.
The DDC directed the Executive Engineer, PDD to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the convenience of common people during Ramzan. He also directed the officers concerned to conduct random checking of markets to ensure quality and price of eatables and cleanliness especially in and around fruit, meat and chicken shops.
The Executive Engineer, PHE was asked to ensure timely drinking water supply at the places of their worships during Ramzan.
He directed the Assistant Director, Food and Supplies Department to ensure proper supply of sugar, Kerosene oil and LPG Gas during the holy days and submit daily basis statement regarding adequate quota of essential commodities. |
