EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 3: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has stressed to appoint Vice Chancellor of Central University Jammu immediately to avoid any further agitation from the students and people of Jammu. In a monthly meeting of the party held here today at PCC headquarters at Shaheedi Chowk, the speakers also urged the government for sanctioning arrears of 6th Pay Commission in favour of government employees as there is great resentment among the employees. The agenda of the meeting, which held under the presidentship of ex MLA Om Chopra, was regarding strengthening of the party at grass root level and to apprise the block and ward presidents and their office bearers to convene the meetings in their respective blocks and wards as they could be enable to organise the Mohalla Committees and polling booth level committees. Prominent among those were present in the meeting included Krishan Lal Gupta, Kirtan Singh, Inder Sehgal, Mansa Ram, VK Sethi, P S Chouhan, Ram Malhotra, Sudarshan Singh, Hussain Bakash, Madan Lal Malagar, Mohinder Pangotra, Mohd. Salim Khan, Jaswant Singh, Rachpal singh, S S Shingari, Sukh Dev Singh, C L Bhatti, R K Bajaj, Om Parkash, Kulbushan Sharma, Jyoti Vaid, Deedar Singh, Sunil Sharma, Suresh Abrol, Anil Kohali, Sikandar Khan, Ch. Kamal, Kamal Kishore, Bachan Kumar, Ricky Sharma, Ashok Malhotra, Shashi, Paabha Salathia and others.
