JAMMU, August 03: A 27–member state athletics team today left for the North Zone Championship to be held at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh from August five to August seven.
The team, selected by Jammu and Kashmir Athletics Association, included both boys and girls in different age groups.
“Accompanied by coach, Gurcharan Singh and manager, Balraj Singh, the team shall complete in both field and track events,” general secretary of the Association, Ravinder Singh told SAN.
The Team:
Boys: Charanjit Singh, Robin Singh, Harman Singh, Prabhjot Singh, Raju Brad, Ajay Kumar, Karamveer Singh, Dileep Sharma, Raj Kumar, Amardeep Singh, Rahul Dhama, Karnail Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Shakeel Hussain, Gharu Ram, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Gaurav Kumar, Lakhvir Singh, Ankush Saini, Ravi Kumar and Manjeet Singh.
Girls: Nitu Kumari and Navdeep Kour.
