Army reviews security situation of Poonch Rajouri
GoC hold meet with Army, int and civil officers

25 Infantry Division Core Group Meeting was held at 25 Infantry Division Rajouri on at Kautilya Hall. The Conference was chaired by Maj Gen KH Singh, YSM, General Officer Commanding ‘Ace of Spades Davison’ and was attended all Brigade Commanders and Senior Officials from the Civil Administration and Police and Intelligence Agencies.
In his opening remarks the GOC welcomed all present and extended good wishes for the holy month of Ramzan. The attendees included DIG, Rajouri-Poonch Shri R K Yadav, IPS, DC, Rajouri Mr G A Khawaja, DC, Poonch Mr A K Sahu, SSP Rajouri Mr VS Samyal, SSP Poonch Mr Ashkoor Ahmed Wani besides others officers from Intelligence Agencies.
The conference deliberated on various issues concerning the prevailing situation, reviewed security arrangements for the ongoing Budha Amranath Yatra and forthcoming Independence Day Celebrations.
Various intelligence inputs were shared by the concerned representatives and it was brought out the coming days are very crucial from security point of view considering the events calendar. Besides these, other issues of mutual concern such as Sadhbhavna Projects, construction and development of roads, border villages such as Kirni Village and land cases were also deliberated upon. In the concluding remark the GOC ‘Ace of Spades Division’ stressed on the need to maintain continuous vigil and alertness by all means and lauded the excellent cooperation between all the agencies which have resulted is achieving present peace. The GOC also stressed upon ‘meaning full need based Sadbhavana Projects and also ‘maintaining human dignity in all spheres of activities by SFs. He further cautioned that the terrorist will definitely resort to desperate means to increase the tempo of militancy and there is a need to keep the guard up all times.
