SRINAGAR, Aug 4: President Minority cell PDP Ashok Bhatt in a statement issued here has said that the NC led coalition government has completely failed to redress grievances of Kashmiri pandits both migrants and non-migrants.
Centre has provided funds for rehabilitating Kashmiri pandits but due to lackadaisical attitude of present government, things have gone from bad to worse. He said that almost 1765 employees were recruited under the PM package, but some of the employees have not received regular salaries from last six months.
Ashok also highlighted that migrant employees who left valley in 1989-90, their service record, seniority list, promotion and other vital data is nowhere. Ashok raised the issue that non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits. He said that they have been denied the access to PM package. The present state government is hell bent to dislodge KP’s from their ancestral homes and make life hell for them.
