| Shabir for dependable power supply to consumers | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 4: Minister of State for Power Shabir Khan today asked senior officers of his department to ensure regular and scheduled power supply to the consumers during the month of Ramdan.
Chairing a meeting of senior officers, the Minister directed to have dependable power supply across the State available to consumers. He said electricity should remains available to the consumers during Iftar and sehri times.
Earlier, the meeting held threadbare discussion on revision of power curtailment schedule in Jammu as well as Kashmir, creation of public grievances cells, immediate steps required to be taken to overcome the power problems etc. Among others, Principal Secretary, PDD, Basharat Ahamd Dhar, Secretary, Power, Development Commissioner Power, Chief Engineer S&O Kashmir, Chief Engineer Commercial and Survey and Chief Engineer, EM&RE attended the meeting.
