Seminar on “Save Girl Child” held

BHADERWAH, Aug 4:

A seminar on “Save Girl Child” was organized at Bhaderwah in which more than 100 Anganwari workers and social workers accompanied by Supervisors of Child Development Project of Bhaderwah participated.
During the seminar, an interactive session was held with regard to pre-conception and prenatal sex. Besides, Regulation Act 2002 was discussed in detail and the participants were made aware about its provisions.
Principal District Session Judge Bhaderwah, S K Bhagat and President of Bar Association Bhaderwah, N P Khajuria and Sub Judge Bhaderwah, C L Bavoria also threw light on the subject.
Munsiff Bhaderwah, Pardeep Kumar Sandhu and a large number of women attended the programme.
Chairman District Legal Services Authorities, Bhaderwah thanked the participants and expected similar cooperation in future also. It was also told that similar programmes shall be organized in different colleges, schools and other areas soon.
