| GCW Gandhi Ngr organises workshop on Food Processing | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 4:- Department of Food Science & Technology, GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu
Today organized a one day Workshop sponsored by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India, New Delhi on the topic "Emerging Career and Business Opportunities in Food Processing".
The workshop was held in collaboration with Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu and National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management. The purpose of the workshop is to make students aware of the various career opportunities and options available in the Food Pro\~essing Sector. At the outset Principal, Prof. Nalini Kohli welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. B.Mtshra, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science & Technology, Jammu and the Resources Persons JKEDI and all the distinguished guests, faculty members and the students from the various schools like Shiksha Niketan, Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Canal Road, Shastri Nagar, Presentation Convent and Kendriya Vidayala.
