EJAC appeals employees to support Kaam Chhodo hartal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 4: Jammu and Kashmir Employees and Workers Federation (JKEWF), a major constituent of EJAC has expressed concern over the anti-employees and workers attitude of Government. Addressing a press conference here today, Kulwant Singh Vice President EJAC (K) and President JK Govt. Employees and Workers Federation lambasted the government for adopting repressive measures like use of police force to curb the trade union movement instead of solving minor and major agreed demands as per the commitment by cabinet Sub Committee's decision held on 19.2.2009 and 14.5.2010. He said that JCC is the umbrella platform representing 4.5 lakh employees of the State adding that JCC was compelled to announce two days token strike for settlement of the demands. EJAC (K) appealed to all section of State Govt. Employees, teachers workers and PSUs to observe two days Kaam Chhodo hartal.
