| SVO produces challan against accused officials | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 5: State Vigilance Organization today produced challan in case FIR No. 22/006-P/S VOK against Manzoor Ahmad Hajam S/o AB Sattar R/O Bumhama Kupwara the storekeeper PHE Division Handwara, Mohammad Maqbool Wani S/o Assadullah Wani R/o Braripora Handwara the store Assistant PHE Division Handwara and Mohammad Ramzan Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir R/o Brain Nishat Srinagar, before the Hon’ble Court of special Judge Anti Corruption, Srinagar.
Accused public servants while being posted at PHE Division Handwara and PHE M&P Division Srinagar respectively hatched a criminal conspiracy and abused their official position by resorting to preparation of false and fabricated records maintained by them during the routine official work. The investigation revealed that store articles consists of pipe special worth Rs. 23,36,630 was found misappropriated by the accused public servants, thereby causing loss to the State Exchequer. |
