Possibility of rain during Aug 7-10 | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 5: As per the Meteorological Department’s weather forecast for 6th to 10th August: the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy on 6th August, and there is a possibility of light rain/thundershowers on 7th and 10thAugust, rain on 8th August and rain/thundershower on 9th August, 2011, in the Kashmir Division. Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board R. K. Goyal has once again advised all those who intend to visit the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Amarnathji to ascertain the obtaining weather conditions in the Yatra area before embarking on the pilgrimage. CEO also urged all intending pilgrims to have them medically examined and no one with an orthopedic problem, chest or lung ailment or any cardiac deficiency should venture to undertake the arduous Yatra, involving trekking upto 14,000 feet. Meanwhile, the Yatra to the Holy Cave Shrine has been progressing satisfactorily on both the Baltal and Chandanwari routes since today morning. |
