| Milad wins by 76 runs in Khawaja Naqashband T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, August 05: Milad Educational Institute XI defeated Elite XI to move into the next round of the ongoing Khawaja Naqashband Sahab Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Radapora playing field, here today.
Earlier, batting first, after Elite won the toss and opted to field, Milad set a target of 167 runs for the loss of six wickets. In reply, Elite XI could not chase and bowled out for 90 runs in just 13 overs.
Adil Malik was top scorer with 72 runs coming off 41 deliveries while Wajahat contributed 20-ball 26 runs. From Elite XI, Ayaz and Muntazir shared two wickets
each.
Batting second, Elite XI collapsed in 13 overs when score on board was 90. This tournament is being organized by J&K State Sports Council.
